V13 — Manthan

"This turn's element meets last turn's element; your card is only where the churn lands."
Overflow batch prototype. This rebuilds the discarded candidate that compared the current roll to the previous roll instead of comparing the roll to a card on the board.

How it works

The number die picks the slot. The element die is compared to the stored memory element from last turn on the same wheel as Sangam: Vayu → Agni → Prithvi → Jal → Vayu.

The card in the struck slot is just the payload. The interesting part is the relation between last turn's element and this turn's element.

Outcome legend

PURE: same element, blank element, or no memory. Card fires at ×2.
FEED: current element feeds the memory element on the wheel. Card fires at ×1 and the current element's verb happens.
SMOTHER: memory feeds the current element. Card fires at ×0.5, then its element is converted to the current element.
CLASH: opposite sides of the wheel. Card fires at ×1, is exhausted, you take 3, and next turn's energy is +2.

Element verbs on FEED

Agni: global Heat +1 for the rest of combat.
Jal: apply Weak and gain 4 Block.
Vayu: rotate all cards one slot right.
Prithvi: next turn your first reroll is free, and Block does not decay on the enemy turn.
Akasha: Shunya fires plain at ×1, clears memory and Heat, and the churn resets.
