V04 — Painted Ground

"Your rolls paint the four anchors, and each turn every painted anchor runs its card the painted way."

Rules

Your rolls paint the four anchors, and each turn every painted anchor runs its card the painted way.

Place cards into the 4 anchors free, but only before your first roll — rolling locks placement. Then roll 2 dice: the number die (1–4; blank = lowest bare anchor, or anchor 1 if none is bare) picks an anchor, the element die paints it.

A roll OVERWRITES whatever paint was there; a blank element scrapes the anchor bare. Either can reduce your distinct-colour count. Energy each turn = distinct colours (minimum 1, nothing carries over), so a reroll can lower next turn's income. Stone is roll-immune: a roll hitting it does nothing and refunds its cost. Paint otherwise persists across rerolls and turns.

At turn end every painted anchor holding a card fires it the paint's way, slots 1→4. Card colour = ground colour doubles the effect.

Element
First roll costs 1. Rerolls cost 2, then 3, then 4, then 4 flat. A roll paints the targeted anchor, overwriting any paint already on it; a blank element scrapes it bare. Either can drop your distinct-colour count and so lower next turn's energy. Stone anchors ignore rolls entirely and refund the cost.

Hand

Element legend — what the GROUND does

AGNI — Scorched: card fires, stays on the anchor and fires again every turn at +50% of base per turn (100%, 150%, 200%…). Empty scorched ground chips the enemy for 1.
JAL — Flooded: card fires, then the anchor to its right — if it is painted and holds a card — fires an extra half-strength shot (rounded down; resonance judged against its own ground). That neighbour then still fires in full when its own slot resolves, so a Jal chain is a deliberate double-fire. At turn end a Flooded anchor paints its right neighbour Jal if bare. Card then discards.
VAYU — Swept: card fires, returns to your HAND instead of the discard, and you draw 1. The paint stays.
PRITHVI — Stone: card fires and stays permanently, firing every turn. A roll cannot repaint Stone — only a 1-energy scrape or Akasha clears it.
AKASHA — Null: gate card. When the enemy first drops to 50% HP or less, Shunya enters your hand. Free to cast — click any anchor to aim it, but it never occupies one: deal 6, gain 6 Block, strip paint from all four anchors, all anchored cards return to hand, then it exhausts.
BLANK element: scrapes the targeted anchor bare, destroying that colour.
RESONANCE: card colour = ground colour → effect doubled.
